Présentation
À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
travelling in central america with my sweetie
ABOUT ME
I've usually got room on my couch (when I have one) for folks who need it and I've enjoyed amazing hospitality, most generously from people who have very little, but share it all. I've found out hospitality is reciprocal, but not always directly...I might not stay with the folks who stay with me, but with their mates, or their mates mates, or folks in their wider communities.
I joined CS because I like the idea of extending the networks of people who I can meet or stay with (and vice versa) to folks I might not otherwise have met.
PHILOSOPHY
still thinking about what Eduardo Galeano wrote in 'Days and Nights of Love and War' (1983)
"The tree flies", says the poet "in the bird that leaves it."
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't stayed with anyone from CS yet, but traveling around a lot I've found generous folks who will give me a ride, a feed, a place to stay or local knowledge about great camping spots. It makes the world easier to get around in and the traveling more adventurous... less mediated by guide books.
