About Me

Hey there! You'll currently find me traveling through Europe. I'm living in the major cities for a couple of months at a time while I research about the place. I'm working on a travel app that involves the hidden gems of each city, the amazing history and the culture.

***I AM NOT INTERESTED IN ANYTHING OTHER THAN FRIENDSHIP***

I think the idea of couchsurfing is great. You get to make new friends all over the world that you normally wouldn't meet. However, everyone I have met so far is only interested in sex (and been fairly aggressive about it). I am not that fun foreign girl looking for a romantic fling or one night stand. Don't make this awkward, guys. I just want someone to have coffee with and show me their favorite sights in the city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This seems like a great way to meet new people when you are new in a city.

Interests

I'm a huge fan of history and love learning about other cultures. I love linguistics even though I'm not very quick at learning languages.

You'll rarely find me at a club, but I love hanging out at coffee shops and meeting new people. I have found that the world is amazing and I want to see all it has to offer!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a bit of everything, but I can't always identify the artists. I do like Helen Forrest, Florence and the Machines and Queen.

I love a good classic movie! Give me William Powell and Myrna Loy any day.

I read Fitzgerald when I feel romantic yet melancholy. Hemingway is saved for when I feel adventurous about life and Vonnegut is for the dark and moody days. Lately though, I read a lot of non-fiction for work.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Broke my collarbone on my 30th birthday and kept traveling anyway!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am pretty good at blurting out "did you know" facts randomly. Like, did you know that the original architect of the Leaning Tower of Pisa hasn't been identified? You'd think he was trying to avoid the fame.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Let's go to dinner! I want to see YOUR city. The places you love and why. Who knows, - maybe they will end up on the app and the world will love what you love.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Canada, England, France, Italy, Malaysia, Morocco, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State
