I moved a few years ago from the countryside (Saarland) to Berlin. My goals: Exploring the city, connecting to other musicians and.. studying. my subject is called Ecology and Environmental Planning and is about the interaction between the environment and society. I enjoy it. But life is a lot more than just studying so I continue to write about other stuff. Let's see...

So who am I? If I'd know, I would'nt search for the answer.. but to describe myself:
I play drums and really enjoy it. Right now I started to learn guitar as well, to get a better understanding beyond rhythm to melodies. Music is all the time around me, I also like going to a lot of concerts. I play drums in two bands: Scarred running stones (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzIjXjc2KmY) and a Punk band (https://soundcloud.com/pro-gamler/terrorreaktor-arschwasser). We do gigs in Berlin and the surrounding area on a regular basis.

I'm open-minded, don't judge ppl, can be funny, can be serious, can be loud, can be quiet.. it just depends. I enjoy conversation as well as silence. I prefer parks and bars to clubs. I love new environments, love hitchhiking and the spontaneous experiences you make. I love nature and I'm fascinated of the urban space.
On the one hand I enjoy company on the other hand if I'm for myself I enjoy to be lost in thougt.

So many people helped me in my past travels in so many ways (lifts when I hitchhiked, places to sleep , great moments to share) that I want to give something back and host travellers.

I've been couchsurfing a couple of times in Melbourne, Sydney, Berlin and Mannheim.

My current favorite music groups are The Taxpayers, Appalachian Terror Unit, Lena Stöhrfaktor, Days 'n Daze and People under the stairs. I listen to a lot of different styles of music but prefer "handmade" music rather than electronic stuff. Nevertheless some electronic artists also have their place in my music library.

One of my favourite authors ist Tony Vigorito who wrote the two amazing books "Nine kinds of Naked" and "Just a couple of days". Also surreal, crazy books like the Illuminatus triology from Robert Shea und Robert Anton Wilson are on my list of all time favorites.

At the moment I enjoy to watch older movies, like 2001 - A Space Odyssey.
