About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Currently living my dream. I recently had a couple of friends of friends come thru on a visit. We had never met before and I offered to put them up at my place. It ended up being one the best weeks of my life. They mentioned this site and here I am.

ABOUT ME

I am an easy going guy who likes to have fun of course. I am living my dream here on Lake Como and enjoy sharing with others. I volunteer at the La Primula Hostel just a five minute walk from my house. I grew up in Denver Colorado and love to travel. I used to travel for free with FedEx but when they got rid of the benefit I quit. I was always on a very tight budget and slept in parks, subways, train stations etc. This would have been a great resource for me then as looking back I put myself in some very compromising situations.

PHILOSOPHY

If I had my journal with me I could probably copy an entry that would be good. Off the top of my head I'd say that I take the good with the bad and am overall very optimistic and positive. I am here on this Earth for a short time and it's very important to me to make those around me as happy as I am.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am here to help others explore this beautiful place that I call home. I am very well connected and when I gel with others I can open up opportunities that are incredible including work. I know what's it's like to be determined to travel on a tight budget and refuse to let it get in the way of exploring the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Recently some friends of friends came through town and I offered to put them up at my place. At first I was skeptical because the previous week I had a bad experience with a very good friend of mine staying with me. It turned out to be one of the most inspiring weeks of my life. They mentioned this site during their stay so I thought I would give it a shot. If I can meet more people like them it will be more than worth sharing my place.

Life is about experiences and you can't have the highs without the lows. It's all necessary and I've found that I really enjoy pushing the limits of my happiness which in turn means that I have to experience the opposite in order to do so. I feel I can help people experience this place in a very unique way. I enjoy playing guitar and taking pictures and introducing people to the limitless possibilities that we all are capable of.
