About Me

Hi, I’m Ezio 🙂

I’m Italian, and I’ve been living in Sweden for the past years. I studied engineering and built what many would call a “stable life”, but at some point I realised it didn’t fully feel like mine, so I left it.

Now I’m working on a long-term project called Destination Humans. I’m crossing the world on foot, walking and running, to meet people along the way and share their stories. Not to break records, just to experience places slowly and connect with people.

Because of this, I’ll often be looking for a place to stay for a night or two while passing through.

I’m easygoing, respectful, and used to adapting. I’ve lived abroad most of my adult life, so I’m comfortable in different environments and cultures. I don’t need much, just a place to rest, maybe a shower, and if there’s time I enjoy sharing a meal or a conversation.

I’m happy to adapt to your schedule and space, and to help out with small things if needed.

If you’re curious about the project, you can check it out on @ezio.journal or destinationhumans.com.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, traveling is mostly about people.
With Destination Humans, I’m moving slowly across countries, and Couchsurfing feels like a natural way to experience places through the people who live there.
Of course it helps on a practical level, but what I really value is the connection, even just a simple conversation or shared moment.

Interests

Running is a big part of my life, mostly as a way to explore places. I like being outdoors, long days moving, and seeing places step by step.
I’m curious about people and enjoy conversations, shared meals, and experiencing places in a more local way.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mumford and Sons

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I run 2000km across the Alps on Via Alpina. I lived 2 months in rural Kenya.
