CURRENT MISSION:
Not going to let the fact that I can't afford a hotel room keep me away from a friend's wedding.

ABOUT ME:
I may snore loudly, but I'm generally a pretty rockin' house guest. I am extremely outgoing, clean, polite, and all of my friends' mothers adore me (possibly more than my actual friends). Hobbies include gardening, singing in the shower, graphic design, app development and freelance writing. Did I mention I'm an amazing cook? Just send me your favorite recipe in advance of my stay, and I'll arrive with the ingredients (so long as you don't expect me to build you a bon-bon tree then we're good). I'm not a genie though; I'm relying on you to have all the necessary cooking utensils.

In case you weren't tipped off by the fact that I used "rockin" as an adjective in the first sentence of the paragraph above, I must warn you that I have the sense of humor, vocabulary--and quite possibly soul--of a 74-year-old.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING:
I've never couchsurfed before, but I like meeting new folks, and financial necessity kind of dictates that I give it a shot for my upcoming trip.

EDUCATION:
I was a public preschool teacher in a former life. It was pretty awesome.

VOCAL PERFORMANCE:
Mostly Korean-style karaoke, but I've sang a few paying gigs.

GARDENING:
During the one month of the year when my town has nice weather, I grow mad hot peppers and spinach.

TECH:
Ever built a game-changing mobile app on your laptop over the course of two sleepless weeks subsisting on nothing but Cheetos and Surge? Me neither, but the teenage coding prodigies in my office have. They keep me young.
