ABOUT ME

I enjoy being entertained whether by music, movies, art, food or conversation. My wonderful family has taught me that genuinely interested people, good meals, unabashed dancing, and travel greased with good drinks make for a happy life. I also enjoy biking, full-contact sports, and thrifty shopping sprees. I'm an extremely amateur photographer, avid cook, and collector of amazing records.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Honestly, though I thought the idea of couchsurfing was great, I was wary about having strangers in my house. Then I met my boyfriend who is very active in the community and after hanging out with the people he hosted, I warmed to the idea. Recently I traveled with him to Berlin and stayed with a couchsurfer, which was an awesome experience. I had traveled in the past, but usually stayed in hostels or cheaper hotels. Staying with a Berliner was by far my favorite way to go... you get great local advice, someone who speaks the language, and usually a very cool person to hang out with. Can't beat that! Not to mention, you have more money for food and good times.
