I am a 44 years old Italian that loved to travel (currently living in the south of the Netherlands).
After a long time, I decided to take a break from corporate life and went on a 8 months trip in South America ( currently still in here!). I got the travel bug back and planning to keep traveling.
Love food ( both cooking and eating it) and obviously, visiting new places and discover unseen gems in every place I go.For this reason, meeting local people is a priority for me. Especially when I go to really touristic places, I do not like to be swallowed by the tourism machine. Staying in hostels is great to meet people, but you only meet other travelers most of the time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined couchsurfing some time ago with the intention of traveling extensively but, never actually used it. I am currently traveling in South America and met lots of people using it with success. I love getting to know a new place through connecting with locals and their food. Being born and growing up in Italy, food is an important cultural aspect for me. I also like to learn a few words in the local language, to get going to open communication with the locals! I am going back to my host country in a while and will open my place as soon as I have it ( and not crashing others couches!), please accept me on your couch in the meanwhile!
