Hey, I'm Fabian, born and raised near Cologne, Germany. Currently studying International Relations and trying to make sense of the complex world of international politics in Dresden, where I live in the vibrant Hecht-Viertel in a shared flat (also vibrant) of 4 people. I'm always in for a discussion about the very big (and so little) questions about life and for anything that involves music. Depending on how busy we are during your stay, we would love to show you around the city or just hang out in the sweet and comfy living-kitchen (with sofas that have magnetic attraction force - It's true!). So you might just end up staying the day in the kitchen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to at least try to be part of the place I'm visiting.
I believe that there's something to learn from every single person.
(Here we go with the clichés, but i guess there is some truth in that)

Interests

Music fills up a fair amount of my time. Enjoying a concert or festival regularly gives me the chills.
Grabbing a cup of tea, nestling down in a comfy chair and putting on some old records even more so.
Playing the guitar, bass or drums gives me the cosy feeling of arriving home.
Other than that, always in for a grim, serious discussion about politics or history.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too much good stuff regarding Music, "Call me by your name" is a very recent movie that I loved and Harry Potter as a book is always a game-changer when it comes to learning a new language.
