I'm 25 years old (female) Brazilian student. Although I currently live in Galway, I completed my undergraduate studies in Administration at the UNISAL – Salesian University Center of São Paulo – Brazil – Americana – São Paulo. Americana is a small town (approximately 209,654 inhabitants), and is situated on located northwest of the state capital.
In about a year or two I plan to pursue a doctorate degree, but I am yet to make up my mind concerning my future area of specialization. So, at the moment, I would like to take some time out of academics to have a different life experience, and to have time to calmly reflect on my future academic/professional orientation. To this end, I think spending a year abroad would be particularly interesting.

I love to know other cultures. I usually say that i like to see both sides of the ring.Traveling is the best way to destroy myths, preconceptions.
And this is not a political speach only. If you're not a traveler, you can talk to someone who does. They will say this is truth.
You become less radical, less conservative, less reactionary... You become more human.
