ABOUT ME

Heh, I have to make sure to ask my friends about this soon! For now, I’d say they would describe me as a relaxed, friendly, open-minded person that loves to travel, meet interesting people, write, talk, think, theorize, photograph and have a good glass of rum.

PHILOSOPHY

It’s a bit long to tell in this small box, but I think a great life is based on personal sovereignty and made of a combination of idleness, productivity and interestingness.

Interesses

I have been living as a nomad since 2008, so I really like to see new places and explore. But I also like to take time to sit back, relax, and think about what I’ve seen. I spend a lot of my time writing, taking photographs, meeting friends (new and old), and walking around to enjoy the light. (I love beautiful morning and evening light!)

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

One was definitely attending the birthday party of an Indian chief in the Amazon. I have written a larger piece on that, but being in the middle of the rain forest and experiencing how the members of all the tribes of the area gathered (and partied!) was awesome in the classic sense of the word.

Other moments are more common, but still very important. They make me experience life more fully: Sunrises and sunsets, thunderstorms in the Tropics, certain "magical" places, a great piece of art, looking at the sea, a large feast with friends... I think there are many moments of awe in daily life and I like to enjoy them.
