I grew up 500 m from the franco-german border, to a French father and a German mother. Therefore it was no easy choice to settle in either of these countries. That's why I decided to suspend this choice and to become a European citizen instead. A first step towards this was to begin my studies in an international setting, namely in two amazing European cities: Cologne and Paris.

My life as a student has shown me many undiscovered interests. I am a very enthusiastic and open-minded person, always interested in discussions and the exchange of ideas. I wish to learn as much as possible about the World, its Societies, its cultures, its Politics, its traditions and – most importantly – its people.

In my spare time I love to explore the places I live in and that are still very new to me. Paris has a lot to show and my greatest fear is that I will not be able to see everything during the two years I’m spending here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As said, I want to make the most out of my studies in Paris and I believe my best chance to getting there is by having people that likewise want to discover new places in this great city.

Even more than exploring my own city and get to know other cultures by having friends stay over, I love to travel myself! I have mainly travelled in Europe but I am currently looking forward to my first big adventures in South-East-Asia. I would love to meet and stay with people during my trips, to have an even greater travel experience.
