After 5 years in Paris, working in computer science. I decide that I really should travel and discover the world instead of staying all year long in that office. So I decided to take a Working Holiday Visa in New Zealand, dismissed my job and go.

And after a year in New Zealand, I really don't have the feeling to go back "home". So here I am, in Australia for a new adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a neophyte on couchsurfing. Even if I subscribe a while ago, I never use it... such a shame I know.
Many friends of mine already made the experience and they have always wonderful stories about their host. So I wanna share my experience with new people too. And I cook CREPES that I love to share :p

Interests

Doing stuff. I'm interested about everything and I love learning new skill.
I hike a lot, and trail/running (my longest run was a marathon... so far!), I love my motorbike too and going on adventures with it.
I spend a year in New Zealand where I did a lot of wonderful hikes. I dedicated my winter to be a better skier and learning snowboard. I'm quite happy about that achievement.
I would like to discover down hill mountain cycling too, how to take care and ride horses, and becoming a better swimmer. So if you are fluent in any of these things, I would be please to learn from your experience :)
I like thinks that are not common. That tickle me feels ! I like being surprised, and surprise people.

My goals : In Australia, I would like to learn as much as I can about horses, for the next of my trip in Mongolia. And I also would like to go back doing some Muay Thai.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of kind of music. Almost any kind. Metal, to electro, to post-rock.
For a little overview I will tell that Satyricon, Slayer, Mogwai, GodSpeed you Black Emperor and Angerfist are my best artist !

I'm a fan of Terry Pratchett and I just finish the whole disc world. Quite sad because so far I didn't find any writer as good as him. But I'm trying.

I love good bad movies. Steven Seagal and Chuck Norris are my favourites actors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Because I wanted to see a tattoo artist specialize in Nordic culture, I decide I should earn my tattoo !
So I learned more about Scandinavian mythology, and decide to go for a hike in the "home of the frosts giants" (Jotunheimen in Norway). This took me 10 days of walk, all by myself.
This was my way to earn this "viking" tributes.
