I think I'm pretty good at making people feel comfortable. Probably because I'm comfortable with pretty much anyone myself! I see humanity as a big brotherhood; the less boundaries the better. I want to meet as many of my brothers and sisters as possible!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I guess I'm a veteran by now. I've surfed, hosted, helped around town, travelled...

Really I feel like couchsurfing has a much larger purpose. It's all about helping one another. When I moved to Tokyo for the first time, I was in the world's biggest city without a friend. This changed right away when I looked around couchsurfing. Met so many great CSers in Tokyo, who in turn introduced me to their own friends. I am so lucky to have met all of them; they are some of the most precious people I have in my life.

As a side note, I also helped a new immigrant to Montreal find an appartment and settle down. You never know where couchsurfing can take you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to couchsurfing by a friend and instantly loved the idea. I decided to try it out myself while travelling in Japan in 2011 and really enjoyed my experience as I met some fascinating persons.

Interests

I love hiking and outdoor activities! Pretty big on sports too: tennis, ice hockey, american football. Also I literally get sick when I don't listen to music or watch movies. Big gamer too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove 1250 kilometers to go to a music festival with an acquaintance. Four days later, this acquaintance was my best friend. It thought me a lot about friendship, love and human nature.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really love languages. Even though I'm bad, I'll try my very hardest at every opportunity I have to practice Chinese. I can return the favour for French, English or Japanese!

I love learning about all sorts of things! I can teach you about astronomy, telescopes... I'm kind of a sound geak too so I can get you started in headphones and the like... I can play the guitar, I'm good at Nintendo...
