Born and raised in Germany. Lived near Magdeburg my whole life until I was 19 and moved to Melbourne (Vic, Australia) where I spent 6 months. After that I travelled for 4 months through New Zealand and Australia.
Now I study and live in the beautiful city Leipzig.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and in doing so I like to experience the cities/places like a local. Or at least stay away from too crowded touristy activities. I would love to get an impression that is as authentic/intimate as it can be in just a couple of days. E.g. get some insight into the 'vibe' or must-do-while-you-are-here tips, best places to eat, hidden gems etc.
All hosts come across as open-minded, and happy to share not only their homes but also some knowledge of the area they are living in. To me, that is awesome.

Couchsurfing seems to be a platform that could offer me what I have in mind for my journey. So I thought: why not?

Lastly I really like socializing. Maybe friendships will emerge.
