ABOUT ME

uuummm... I'm very easy-going, open minded. I believe in people and in exchanging. I am a respectful and kind person (I try my best).

Just now I am studying for a PhD in sociolinguistics (before I was a teacher). At present, I spend a lot of time in Brittany to care for my older parents.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For the moment, I unfortunately cannot accommodate people as my life is fairly complicated with me travelling back and forward at very short notice to Brittany. Of course, later on, when my life is more settled, it will be a pleasure to return the help I was kindly offered.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I spent nearly 2 months (2 journeys) on a trawler for research purposes (ethnographic) during the mad winter time around Shetland (wind: force 11-12). These men are incredibly generous to have accepted me on board (a woman) and so courageous given their working conditions.
