About Me

Press 1 for sustainability advice, 2 for travel suggestions, 3 for the song of the day

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really love and feel part of this community. So far I've never used CS to find hosts, but I am very open to host people I meet through hangouts.

I use CS to connect with fellow travellers when I'm abroad, have some fun & beers, share travelling plans and ideas. Every time I did so, I met literally the best people and had so much fun.

Interests

I am a sustainability consultant, passionate for the environment, music and travelling (ensuring my footprint does not skyrocket by choosing destinations and transport modes compatible with my carbon budget).

I love playing guitar and I really like hiking and I do casual running in spring/summer. I've done the Francigena route from Pont Saint Martin to Aosta and some of the most iconic hikes in Norway (Trolltunga, Kjerag, Preikestolen and most hills in Bergen). I'd like to do more hiking, backpacking and wild camping in my next trip as well. Also busking in European cities!!

Music, Movies, and Books

60's Pop Music, old Italian comedies, books of all kinds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I know a thing or two about travelling by train : )

From a train window, you can experience the same landscape evolving over different seasons. I've been a long range commuter twice in my life, from Tuscany to Emilia Romagna & from Piedmont to Lombardy. I'll never forget seeing every morning the Alps mirroring in the flooded rice fields near Vercelli. Locals call this "il mare a quadretti" ("the chequered sea").

AND you can see one landscape evolving into another when travelling across a country and across borders! I've travelled from Milan all the way to Norway by train in summer 2022!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a very respectful person and I enjoy cross-cultural sharing of experiences and thoughts.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well the first thing foreigners expect Italians to share is FOOD so....happy to : )

Never heard of cacio & pepe? Then you're missing the best pasta!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, San Marino, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United States, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
