ABOUT ME

I am a Brazilian American interested in meeting people and making new friends over a cup of coffee. I have currently been living mostly between Brazil and the US for work, but I sometimes end up in different countries. I am a traveler with a career in international education and who loves learning about different cultures.

It is easier to change something about yourself than to try to change other people.

When you travel you learn to rely on the goodwill of locals. I try to make this my philosophy. Being a couchsurfer is my way of contributing to the cause.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have kept and nurtured connections I have made with other travelers for over 20 years, and to me this is amazing in itself. I am also happy to have lived this far and very grateful to everyone and everything that has crossed my path.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help anyone with English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and I would love to learn other languages. I like cooking (as a hobby) and learning how to cook new foods. I am also into traveling, hiking, biking, drinking coffee and swimming.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can be good company, chat, and also hear stories. I am interested in exchanging information, experiences, and stories with people. Everyone is fascinating in their own way. I can also appreciate silence when needed.
