About Me

My journey began in a small town of Mexico known for the craft of making guitars. There I learned to read, write and play classical music; I also learned about complacency and fear.

The latter one is what drove my mother, sister and I to move to Los Angeles where the three of us lived together for 9 years. I completed High School and went to college in LA.

I then lived in Arizona for five years. There I discovered my love for the game of golf and developed some photography skills.

I moved back to LA and have been living in the heart of Hollywood

I have a passion for telling stories; not the made-up kind, real stories that we can all relate to. I'm working on becoming a journalist. For that reason, I want to have a broader perspective than what I now have. That is why I'm learning a new language and travel as much as I can.

In the United States, I have been in California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Washington State, Illinois, Wisconsin, Louisiana and Florida.

My goal is to visit as many places in the U.S. before going international.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to tell stories and I want to do so for a living. I have many stories to tell, but not as many as there are to learn about.

Many people say they travel to learn about themselves. I understand how some people might feel lost and could "find themselves" after learning about other ways of living, but that is not my reason for traveling. I already know who I am.

I am on CouchSurfing because I want to learn
