HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only met some surfers in my hometown and that's how I knew about CS. I usually stay with local people while travelling, friends that I have met here and there, but I'm joining to the Cs experience for the first time in my next trip to India

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a nice couple in Jaipur, India. They were very helpful and the experience was cool because we got to meet locals and the way the live.

Interests

I'm a college student, Working between journalism and films. I like to read and write, watch films, travel, walk, and have a nice chat with my friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Oasis, Franz Ferdinand, Elliott Smith, Regina Spektor, Goran Bregovic, die Ärzte, Wir sind Helden, etc.

Books: Milan Kundera, Gabriel García Marquez, Michel Houellebecq, Guillermo Fadanelli, but also stuff like Harry Potter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bereberes in the moroccan desert, as well as goats climbing on trees. In Istanbul I met a group of people who loved salsa-dancing. They were salsa teachers, went to salsa partys and clubs. They danced salsa for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They were mad about it. I found it passionate and lovely, but specially amazing, because I never expected to find people dancing a dance from my culture at the other side of the world. Cultures are more conected than we know.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some cumbia-dancing, which nobody actually teaches you at some floor-dancing school. Or if you preffer I can tell you the propper way to drink tequila and to eat tacos and mexican food. I can tell you about my travels and places I've lived in.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Colombia, Germany, India, Mexico, Morocco, Turkey
