PHILOSOPHY

I'd resume it in a dilemma: shall I stay or shall I go? Sometimes I'm good to stay (with my friends, my family), some others I really have to run away (basically from girlfriends that want to get married)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had a wonderful CS experience in my last journey in Brasil: 4 different people with their families and friends, that hosted me in the most charming way I could ever expect. Now I' ve got to 'pay my dues', so I'm waiting for you to come here !

I think I'm quite open, but I'm not a hostel. To me CS is about getting an exchange experience. This means that, even if it gives just a first perception, your profile is important to me: No profile -> no couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've always been hosting people that I already knew while I was travelling around: they've been couchsurfing quite well in my place but they have not an account on this site to tell you : (

Because I don't have a television nor the internet at home, a lot of time and energy is saved for all the rest.

I'm mad about sports, expecially swimming and pilates. I'm in love with music (expecially the brasilian, from bossa nova to samba to MPB) and dancing: I can do it for hours with no problem at all but swetting like a rain gutter.
Ever heard about Contact Improvisation ? I'm a recent, enthusiastic student of that.
Every day I dedicate a bit of my time to languages: I work with english, I often read and write in portuguese, I just started to study some french.

Most of my friends have young babies and I'm said to have a strong attitude with kids. Yes that's true: I'm a natural-born babysitter.

What else ? I love to spend long holidays far far away from home. When friends or a girlfriend want to join me I'm happy about that, otherwise I just go by myself and bring' em back a piece of the 'outside world'

That's, more or less, my every day life out of my job. Oh, yes, I've got a new job ! After 10 years in human resources recruiting, training and development I just jumped in international marketing and sales. It's quite interesting !

I'm really fond of some literature: Verga, Sciascia and Pirandello from Sicily; Coloane, Sepulveda and Allende form Chile; Machado de Assis and Amado from Brasil; Fante, Bukowski, Hemingway and Palaniuk from US
I have a strange relationship with cinema: I started with Hollywood action movies, I kept on with Sergio Leone, Lars Von Trier, FF Coppola and many others and I finally arrived to the best ever: the Cartoons
