ABOUT ME

Prior to becoming a full-time student, I travelled a lot around Asia. At the time I was particularly fascinated by overland travel and tried to go as far as possible without flying. After finishing my undergrad at the University of Edinburgh, I started a Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley. My studies are in the field of statistical machine learning.

Interests

I am a total sucker for strange foods. As long as you eat it first, I will try pretty much anything. Over the years my flatmates have taught me many strange but extremely tasty recipies which I love to cook every now and then. I also enjoy Brazilian percussion a lot, but have so far been unable to find a nearby band...
