About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Life's filled with experiences - I'm working to explore as many as possible, building community along the way...
ABOUT ME
I appreciate getting the opportunity to travel, which I am fortunate to do a lot thankfully!!
I love exploring new places and visiting previously been-to places, and love meeting new people, all over, hearing about life experiences and perspectives. Nothing beats a good conversation over coffee or a cocktail!
Other than that, I enjoy musical theatre, visiting museums, reading, walking through cities and enjoying local foods, definitely seeing the gay neighborhoods, and seeing more of the world and life.
I am gay (queer), Muslim, Indian, African, American! =)
I especially appreciate and connect with other gay men in hearing their life stories and to realize how much s many people have done (and continue to do so) so we can live the way we do today, some of us freely.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love meeting new people from all around the world.
Thank you to the amazing people who have hosted me -- they have made my travels much better... I have found out about amazing (and usually hidden) coffee shops, and fun things to do in their cities, and more importantly the friendships I have developed are fantastic! I've heard amazing stories and stayed up way too late chatting with couchsurfing friends which has made my travels or hosting so so much better!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It has been awesome meeting people locally as well as by hosting... I am glad to be part of CouchSurfing! I try to host when I'm in town, but I travel a lot.....
Interests
I watch more TV than I care to admit, and am getting more into reading novels again! Hanging out with friends, cooking, and strolls through the city are great, and checking out the many free museums in DC

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies - anything Disney, Pixar, Angels in America, Milk, and of course Bollywood movies are outstanding (mostly). Let me know if there are any other movies I should watch!
Books - "I am not myself these days" is a fun read. "And the mountains echoed" was intense and outstanding. More recently, I read "After Elias" which was a really god perspective on dealing with grief.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ziplining in Costa Rica then doing a harnessed-bungee jump..... yikes!
Getting to travel to six countries in the span of three months, and squeezing in a safari to the Serengeti; nothing beats seeing those amazing creatures.
Lately, going to clothing optional queer campsites and meeting amazing people and creating community!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love listening about people's experiences, and sharing traveling stories -- I'm privileged enough to get to travel as much as I do and I love it!
