PHILOSOPHY

I've gained a lot by trusting people in my travels. I've always believed in an open door policy, that trust begets trust. i say what's on my mind.
additionally, life is too short to live in a box.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done my share. Always grateful. As I get older, it does get harder to sleep at someone else's place. You have higher cleanliness standards and it has to be quieter to fall asleep.

I'm partial to very obscure independent type rock, power pop, post-punk, experimental bands. I don't listen to the radio. I don't listen to band that are getting grammies.

Hitch-hiked all through Ireland, a little of France (Brittany), this trip included lots of couch surfing. Also once hopped a freight train in Oregon and spent that night on a roof. Tried to crash at some group house but it was so incredibly filthy and had cats (allergic to cats) me and my friend took a matress up to the roof top. Traveled to Finland, Asia, Costa Rica, Brazil, some other places.

I know good places to go in many cities, I've lived in a lot of places. I make the best hummus. I am fluent in American Sign Language.
