About Me

I’m a choreographer, opera stage director, and performer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’m passionate about using the stage as a space to connect deeply with audiences — pushing the boundaries of traditional opera and dance to create powerful, emotional, and sometimes unexpected experiences. I love traveling, meeting people from different walks of life, and learning how other cultures express beauty, rhythm, and emotion. When I’m not in rehearsal or on stage, I enjoy good coffee, deep conversations, and exploring cities by foot or bike.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that the best part of traveling is connecting with people. Couchsurfing feels like a great way to not only explore new places, but also to share stories, meals, and perspectives with locals or fellow travelers. I’m always curious about how others live, work, and create, and I love the idea of hospitality as a form of cultural exchange. Also, as an artist, I often travel on a budget — this platform offers both a practical solution and a meaningful way to experience the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

• Music: A mix of opera (Donizetti, Mozart, Strauss), experimental and electronic, Argentine folk, and pop divas.
• Movies: Visconti’s Death in Venice, Almodóvar’s Talk to Her, Black Swan, Call Me by Your Name, All About Eve.
• Books: Just Kids by Patti Smith, Letters to a Young Poet by Rilke, The Little Prince, and lots of plays and librettos. I also love reading interviews with artists, directors, and creatives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I directed an opera production in Berlin as part of an international program — bringing together singers, designers, and creatives from all over the world. It was a mix of chaos, creation, collaboration, and pure magic. We transformed a traditional piece into something very contemporary, and seeing the audience react so emotionally was unforgettable.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach movement workshops, improvisation tools, and basic choreographic techniques for performers. I also love to share about opera as a living art form — not as something stuck in the past. I’m always open to learning about new ways of storytelling, local rituals, and cooking traditions. Whether it’s how someone makes coffee in the morning or what their grandmother taught them to cook, I’m fascinated.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A meal (I can cook or go grocery shopping with you!), good stories from the stage and backstage, a movement warm-up or dance class, and probably some dramatic retelling of opera scenes. I’m happy to help with cleaning or organizing a space, and if you’re into art, we can visit a museum or performance together. I’ll be respectful of your space and your time, and I’ll always try to bring warmth, curiosity, and appreciation.
