Hey everyone! I'm Fadzrul, solo traveler from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Started solo traveling in 2018 and immediately fell in love with it as it gives me the chance of meeting new like-minded people, learning about new cultures, exploring new cities, and going on adventures. The experience gained is definitely invaluable!

Coming from a tropical and hot country all year round, I love the cold weather and snow, therefore winter and autumn is my favourite time to travel. Some say that I was born in the wrong continent.

On a 4 month backpacking trip starting November 2025!

I love the outdoors, especially being around mountains. And adventurous activities! I’m an adrenaline junkie always seeking the thrill.

Looking for accommodations (not gonna lie, coming from a weaker currency nation, accommodations can be very expensive, especially in Western countries).

However most importantly, I’m also here to learn about new cultures and to form long term friendships and connections while traveling. I prefer to get to know a person deeper and get closer to them. While I can get the same experience in hostels as well, most of it are superficial, so I hope couchsurfing can provide a more authentic experience.
