About Me
Hi, I’m Faezeh! I’m an electronic engineer, currently working and living in Jena. I’ve recently moved here, so I might not be the best city guide just yet—but I’m happy to host and share what I can.
I have a small flat with an extra bed that I’d be glad to offer. I really enjoy meeting warm-hearted people from different cultures—sharing stories, meals, and experiences. For me, that’s what makes Couchsurfing so special. Hosting guests is not just about offering a place to sleep, but about creating meaningful connections.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and exploring new places, and I believe Couchsurfing is the perfect way to combine both! I'm an extroverted person who enjoys sharing experiences with others—I don’t really like traveling completely alone.
For me, the best part of traveling isn’t just seeing famous buildings or pretty places (we can always see those in photos!), but truly getting to know the culture of a city or country. I believe the only way to really understand a place is by being there, connecting with locals, and experiencing everyday life.
Couchsurfing gives me that opportunity, and I’m excited to be part of this amazing community!

Music, Movies, and Books
One of my favorite movies—the one that really inspired me as a woman—is Joy, the one starring Jennifer Lawrence. It’s about strength, creativity, and not giving up, and it really speaks to me.
As for books, I’m a big fan of Irvin D. Yalom. I’ve read so many of his works, and honestly, I wouldn’t mind re-reading some of them. His writing really makes you reflect on life, relationships, and the human mind.
And when it comes to music… yes, I’m a Swiftie! 😄 I grew up with Taylor Swift’s songs, and they’ve been with me through so many phases of life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've done in my life is immigrating—not just once, but twice!
The first time, I moved to Thailand and spent a year teaching English to elementary and high school students. It was an unforgettable experience that gave me the chance to really connect with the culture, people, and daily life there. I learned so much and truly fell in love with the warmth and kindness of Thai culture.
Later, I moved to Germany, and since 2024 I’ve been living here. Each move has been a huge step in my life, full of challenges, growth, and amazing memories. I believe these experiences have shaped who I am and made me even more open to learning from others around the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’d also love to share a bit of my own world with you—I can introduce you to Persian culture, traditions, and food. And if you're into technology or just curious, I’d be happy to show you a glimpse into the tech world—it might be more interesting than it sounds!
I’m also really curious about other people’s lives, especially their jobs. I always enjoy hearing what others do for a living. If you're a scientist, that’s even more exciting—I’d love to know what you're working on! And most important what is your story. +__+
