About Me
The magic of travel isn’t just in the places we go, but in the people we meet and the stories we exchange along the way. :)
Hey there! I’m Faezeh, someone who thrives on curiosity, connection, and the thrill of new experiences. There’s nothing better than exploring a place through the people who call it home—learning their stories, sharing a meal, and discovering the hidden corners that make a destination special.
Some of my favorite moments have come from spontaneous adventures—whether it was cliff-jumping before actually learning how to swim (definitely an experience!) or working on MRI prototypes designed for astronauts in space. Every experience, big or small, adds something new to how I see the world.
Right now, I’m preparing for a trip through Europe and can’t wait to dive into its cultures, flavors, and landscapes. Food plays a big role in how I connect with places—there’s something special about sharing a meal that tells a story of tradition and community. And when I travel, I love finding those local gems that might not be in a guidebook—the cozy cafés, scenic trails, or late-night conversations that make a trip unforgettable.
More than anything, I love meeting people who are passionate about what they do, whether it’s in science, the arts, or just life in general. If you have a favorite hidden spot, a book that changed your perspective, or a story that shaped you, I’d love to hear it!

My Promise as a Guest
• I will respect your home and your privacy.
• I’m easy to talk to, but I know when to give space and when to engage.
• I’m open to exploring new places and happy to join you on an adventure, but I’ll also respect your routine and downtime.
• I’m also willing to help out in any way I can—whether it’s with cooking, cleaning, or just contributing to the atmosphere of the place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe the best way to experience a place is through its people. Whether it’s sharing a home-cooked meal, swapping travel tips, or exploring the off-the-beaten-path spots, there’s nothing like the magic of connecting with locals or fellow travelers. Let’s learn from each other, share stories, and create moments that turn into lifelong memories.
Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite Songs: So Close - Ólafur Arnalds , Imagine Dragons - Demons , Leonard Cohen - Famous Blue Raincoat / Favorite Movies: The Fountain - Darren Aronofsky , Leon The Professional - Luc Besson , Your Name (Kimi no Na wa) - Noritaka Kawaguchi / Spirited Away - Hayao Miyazaki / Favorite Books: Too Loud a Solitude - Bohumil Hrabal , Tuesdays with Morrie - Mitch Albom
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I helped in designing a portable MRI prototype for astronauts—because muscles behave differently in zero gravity! Turns out, space makes everything a little more complicated (and way cooler).
Teach, Learn, Share
I’ve taught Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Geometry, but the most recent thing I’ve taught has been English. By the way, I’m trying to learn a bit of French.
What I Can Share with Hosts
• Stories from my travels (there’s some fun camping stories in there)
• A meal (let’s cook together—if you’re up for it!)
• Good vibes and easy-going company—I respect your space and your vibe.
• A curious mind—I love learning from people and cultures around the world.
• Memories that last—because travel is all about experiences that stay with you.
