Based on a report by The Economist Intelligence Unit, Singapore has been crowned as the world's most expensive city for the fifth consecutive year in a row. That's right ladies and gentlemen. I've been living in the world's most expensive city for 23 years! Madness!

Nevertheless, conscious to the fact of the high cost of living here, Singapore is such a beautiful place to live :) We have so much to offer despite being one of the smaller countries in the region. Beautiful skyscrapers, good street food and so much activities to indulge in.

On weekdays, I'd be working my ass off in the office to earn sufficient money to fund for my next trip. If travelling was free, I'd be joining Dora in her adventures! On weekends, I'd lay in my bed doing nothing and then regretting not having a productive weekend.

I'm into solo travelling because adulthood sucks and most of my friends are busy with work. I love hiking mountains and exploring new places and cities to enquire new knowledge.

I believe that Couchsurfing is a great platform for me to deepen my friendship with locals in a specific country and to learn more about their lifestyle and culture. I would love to learn new knowledge from hosts, such as making traditional dishes, brushing up on my language, spending the evening in museums and the list could go on.
