I have a lot of interests, but it all boils down to lines and curves... I feel like appreciating lines and curves are all you need to appreciate beauty in dance, art, sports. Even the whitespace in a line of poetry speaks as much or more than the words themselves.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Standing at the finish line of my first marathon.

Caught in the torrential rain at mile 80 of 160 while walking from Champaign to Chicago. Trying to hitch a ride for hours, but failing. Turning to look back...only to see a car rolling to a stop.

Watching the clouds roll in and out of Mt. Taishan in China. I had finally found the China that I was looking for, not the high-rises of Beijing or the museum exhibits of once sacred temples.
