About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn cultures as much as I can while interacting with new people. Visit many beautiful countries and meet their beautiful people.
ABOUT ME
I love exploring new things, making new friends, adventure to exotic places and contemplating all values I got from my journey.
PHILOSOPHY
Travel makes people more tolerant and open-minded. Make as many new friends as possible while traveling, and be kind to everyone. Smile, and the world will smile at you
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By being a good surfer or host. Engaging in exciting conversation, cultural exchange, spending time and having fun together with the host or surfer.
Interests
I have always been fascinated by and respectful of different cultures, and for me, that is the essence of traveling so we can be more respectful and open-minded toward diversities.
I love hiking, and I often reflect it into life. Life is like climbing a mountain. Sometimes we need to stop, look back, and we'll be amazed knowing how far we've gone. And that short break will give new energy to reach the top. So, this is me taking a short break and enjoying what the universe gives me.
Traditional dancing was the recent interest I explored. Never knew that I have this hidden talent until I found it recently, and I enjoyed it so much!

Music, Movies, and Books
I have no particular genre that I like the most. I listen to popular songs and am more into chill music than rock. Some music brings happiness, while others help me to release sad emotions. 'When You Believe ' is one of my favourite music, and it has a personal place in my heart.
I love fiction movies like Lord of The Rings, Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Hobbit, and the list goes on and on., Inception is one of my favourite sci-fi movies. Another genre I love the most is comedy, I love Thai comedy movies.
Besides fiction books like the fiction movies I mentioned above, I love reading a self-development books like The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck. Filosofi Teras, a book inspired by 'Meditation', is my other favourite book. It really helped me to focus on something I can control and reduce my overthinking.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Sailing to Komodo islands after I finished my graduate dissertation is the best trip I've ever done. Saw thousands of stars on peaceful nights, felt the wind, stared at the blue sea colour, snorkelled and was amazed at the magnificent deep-water life, and saw the perfect sunrise and sunset every day!
- Spent one year as an elementary school teacher on a remote island in Papua, east of Indonesia. It was like living my dream, as I always dreamed of living on a tiny island surrounded by beautiful beaches and magnificent deep-water corals.
- Climbing Mt. Semeru (3.676 m), the highest mountain in Java island. An unforgettable moment since I spend 8 hours to summit from the last shelter, freezing and crawling to reach the top.
Teach, Learn, Share
Respect others, and be tolerant. Many aspects make us different, but it doesn't mean we can judge people right or wrong and force them to agree with our minds.
Focus on something we can control, which only 2; our actions and our mind. This simple statement changed my life, especially when I reached the age of my thirties.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good ear since I love listening to people's stories. I also have stories to share, and we can exchange some values from each culture. Most importantly, friendship. I value friendship from CS, even years after we met. I hope we can cross the path again and travel together, just like me and my Turkish host I met 5 years ago. We met again in the UK, and we travelled together to Edinburgh.
