I've spent most of my life sailing. I was raised on a sailboat while my parents sailed around the world. and I've been traveling on the sea and on land ever since. I love sailing in the open ocean, especially when i am alone on my boat. the sea is amazing. life on land still feels a little strange to me: the land does not move like a boat moves! I love learning and find sharing food and sharing community with other people gives me a wonderful sense of fulfillment.

Through couchsurfing people who have never met can become connected through generosity. I love to share with people and while I'm on the road my memories and my stories are all I have to share. I believe everyone has valuable knowledge to share. I've never met someone from whom I didn't learn something.

Interessi

I´ve spent close to 25 years of my life living, working, building, or sailing boats of one kind or the other. I love the freedom of the Open Ocean. I've sailed across the Pacific Ocean 4 times in my life and I hope to be able to sail across many more times. I love the Pacific because there are SO MANY different kinds of cultures on SO MANY different islands. Sometimes there is a new language to learn on EVERY island you visit. When I am not sailing I'm traveling and this is when i get joy to meet new people through couchsurfing.

Musica, film e libri

I really enjoy any type of music where I can understand the lyrics music that has a nice sound that is pleasing to the ears! I´m not so picky! Jack Johnson is not so bad!

as for movies and documentaries: >"Meru" is a climbing documentary and is totally awesome, Forest Gump is a classic, Avatar is pretty awesome, and anything with David Attenborough will entrall me for hours!

books: Calvin and Hobbes, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Enchanted Vagabonds, The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged, South Sea Vagabonds, and of course The Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit!

I've shared love, laughter, pain, joy, boredom, excitement, fear, happiness and many other emotions with amazing people throughout this amazing world. Every day I wake up and get to live this life is an amazing day to me.
