About Me
Helloooo, my name is Falke. I've always lived in Antwerp, Belgium.
I study piano at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. I feel like music is often my key to meet people from all over the world, it’s a way of connecting.
When I travel, I'm not interested in staying at hotels at all, I'd really like to meet locals who can tell me about themselves and the city I'm staying in.
Meeting new places, new people and making music are my favourite things to do. I'm always up for a jam or writing some music together.
I'm also very ecological and try my best to take care of nature. I really do everything I can. It starts with small things.
I don't need much, just a tent and my backpack and I'll be fine, I always enjoy the little things in life.
I like exploring cities and their historical background, but I'm not such a citytripper. I prefer discovering the lakes, go kayaking, and sit around a campfire at night and get to know all of you better.

Music, Movies, and Books
Jazz, classical, folk, reggae, hiphop, turkish psychedelic folk, world music: my musical preferences have no limits. I play the piano and a little bit of guitar, there is nothing I love more than playing, singing and improvising together. Also really into literature, poetry, books about (art) history and philosophical books.
Let's have a drink and talk about movies, books and music :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Summer 2019: I won an interrail ticket with my friend Lene: we got the amazing chance to travel through Europe by train. We had no plans. We just went to the train station and, hopped on a train and see where we would end up. That’s when we discovered couchsurfing, and luckily some very nice people were able to host us very last minute. I discovered this way of travelling without having any plans: and it’s actually becoming a lifestyle! I like to live from day to day. What’s the worst that could happen?
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook, do the dishes, help you with housekeeping, take care of kids... teach you how to play the piano, take care of your pets, go for a walk with the dogs, teach you dutch or french, or be good company for a drink!
