ABOUT ME

We are a family of 5 (+ two cats!) from age 20 to 61. We live near Paris (it takes us 45 min to go from out nice (and not so big) city of St genevieve des Bois (91700) to Paris using the train (RER)).
We speak a little bit of English, Spanish and German.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Our goal is to get to meet people from all over the world by welcoming them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have very little couchsurfing experience yet. However we have participated in exchange programs (between school, cities....) and we got to meet german, spanish, english, scotish, canadian and american people. We enjoyed it so much that we could not miss an occassion to have this opportunity again.

Interests

Depending on which family members you are talking to!

We are interested in mangas, TVshows, a little bit of art ( we are more interessted in the originality of the technique than in the actual choice of what to represent. We are notably curious about some forms of cubism such as the oprhism of the Delaunay's. Coming from our same curiosity for unusual techniques we are also interested by affichistes such as Jacques Villeglé or kinetics artists).
Looking at this description of our matters of curiosity do not get us wrong, we definitively do not claim to know a lot about thoose kind of arts but we would like nothing more than to get a chance to learn or exchange ideas with people who share our curiosity.

We have also one of our members who is into photography. She's also into a scout group (Scouts et Guides de France: which is mixt and supposed to be christian but is actually very open-minded, just like our family. We do not believe in any religion but we care very much about respecting people's beliefs.)

Some of us are into sports and especillay cycling and swimming but also a little bit of rock-climbing (we do not live so far away from Fontainebleau which is a great place for that).

2 of us are participating in some nonproift organizations.

Finally some of us enjoy tryng different recipes, writing some slam (a particular type of poetry) or even trying some bigger art (draft) projects arround kinetics.
