ABOUT ME
pfff...I don't know where to start with and what to say at all... I try to enjoy life, to stay curious about anything and nice to anyone, to understand the others and the world, and to make it a little bit better. If you want to know more about me, you'll have to meet me!
PHILOSOPHY
Life is what you make out of it. So try...just a little bit harder! See, how nice it can be.
Always try to look at the bright side of things. There is (almost) one.
Remember sometimes that we are very very little dots in the universe so basically nothing. So what do we care?
Try not to loose faith in human being although watching the news 2 minutes is enough to make you want to distroy human race before it does itself
Try to go on trusting people, even if society tries to teach us to be suspicious, to fear others, to close our doors and watch our belongings in the underground
Por que estou no Couchsurfing?
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am keen on discovering other countries and cultures, and meeting people. I am willing to help people planning to travel to France or somewhere else. I've been in a few places already and can maybe give a few tips about things to see, places to stay, or possibilities to go abroad (volunteering, studying,...). For people you would come and visit my town I will try to make their stay as nice as possible.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfing before I even knew couchsurfing existed:
I made a trip round Europe in Summer 2005 and went to visit guys from Macedonia I met in Berlin 2 weeks before, and one guy in Slovenia I had met in Bosnia.
So don't forget to open your eyes, your ears and your door and to take opportunities life (and traveling) is giving you!
A couch can become a friend, a friend can provide you a couch and both can be found on the road!
Couchsurfing through CS:
I have never hosted sofar but did sightseeing and tea/bier drinking with people who contacted me through this site and they always turned out to be nice people!
I was hosted last minute in Marseille when I came to do my job interview.
I was hosted by lovely guys in Norway.

Air, The Beatles, Beirut, Georges Brassens, Jacques Brel, Debout sur le Zinc, The Dandy Warhols, Death in Vegas, Garbage,Gotan Project, Janis Joplin, K's Choice, Mansfield Tya, Morcheeba, Muse, Nada surf, Pink Floyd,Portishead, Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Damien Rice, Sigur Ros, Suede, Syd Matters, The Doors, The Tarantino Connection (Tarantino Movie Soundtracks compilation), Velvet Goldmine Soundtrack, Vopli Vidoplaçova (Ukainian band), Tom Waits, Yann Tiersen
A few movies I can think of right now:
Mullholland Drive (because it turns your mind upside down and you don't understand nothing, althought I tend not to like it when I don't understand movies)
Requiem for a dream (a movie in which music and image perfectly meet to turn your guts upsite down and a sharp critism on all kinds of addictions created by modern society)
Trainspotting (because Ewan Mc Gregor is so cute even junked out, throwin up in buckets and putting his head in the toilet. Because of the "Temptemtion" song at the disco.
Printemps, été, automne, hiver... et printemps, de Kim Ki-Duk parce que c'est juste magnifiquement contemplatif
L'Odeur de la papaye verte de Tran Anh Hung
Woong Kar Wai : Les Anges déchus (Fallen Angels), Happy Together, In the Mood for Love, 2046, My Blueberry Nights
Marie-Jo et ses 2 amours de Robert Guégiguian (parce que c'est une histoire d'amour au pluriel, une histoire qui finit mal, comme les histoires d'amour en général; que les acteurs sont formidables et que ça se passe à Marseille;)
Films cultes à voir en famille (I 've seen them hundreds of times but always have a good laugh watching them) : Le Père Noël est une ordure, La vie est un long fleuve tranquille
en vrac: Emir Kusturica, David Lynch, Wong Kar Wai, Tarantino
Last book I read: Paul Auster's New York trilogy
Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe
I can teach some french, english and german.
I'd like to learn many other languages and as priority : dutch, spanish,...chinese (which I started to learn at highschool but I forgot everything),
I can make very good guacamole and I keep secret the receipe of the best chocolate cake ever! I can also show you how to cook a tartiflette and a gratin dauphinois (both french dishes with potatoes and cheese in it, very good and very light... ;).
More generally I love to share my enthousiasm and the small knowledge/experience I have.
