Overview
About Me
Hey ! I'm a French girl who grew up in Lisbon, and I came back to France after finishing highschool. I am studying in an engineer school close to Paris.
Well, I still haven't gone to one single lesson in that school since the cursus begins with a 6-months internship, which I am doing in Ploërmel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's (I think) the best way ever to travel ! I never surfed, but I dream to : it seems to me like a magic way to meet new people, to discover really the country in which we are traveling.
Interests
I love learning foreign languages. I was lucky to learn portuguese when I was a kid, and it helped me to learn other languages ; it is exciting to understand little by little the structure, the "spirit" of a language, to learn the language that governs some people's thoughts.
As for theatre, it is an old passion, that continued through middle and high school.

Music, Movies, and Books
Avatar the last airbender is the best cartoon that was ever made !! For all ages ;) I also read quite a lot of manga (the length of anime scared me away, I prefer reading)
As for books, there are too much to tell all of them, but here are some : Terre des hommes by St Exupéry, Les Mille et une nuits, poems from Fernando Pessoa, any book from Amin Maalouf or Albert Camus, Harry Potter, A Study in Scarlet and other Sherlock Holmes, La sombra del Viento by Carlos Ruíz Zafón, …
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seing an gigantic arch beaten by the wind and the waves in an apocalyptic scene in Kangaroo Island.
I went twice to a two-days aikido camp with training under the stars and underwater.
Also just appreciating life, any moment, any person I have the oleasure to meet.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I never surfed, I only hosted when I was living with my mother but I'm sure there is plenty of things I can share, from food (I'd be glad to cook some a-bit-French-but-not-totally stuff) to ideas ;)
Countries I’ve Lived In
France, Portugal, Singapore
