Research, teach and learn about garbage. Waste. Trash. Rubbish. That's right, everything you throw away without giving it a second thought, I go dig and I'm weirdly enthusiastic about it!

ABOUT THE SIM VERSION OF ME (Only for Sims addicts)

If I were a Sim, I guess I'be:
- friendly
- light sleeper
- artistic
- clumsy
- good
well, and since I'm not a Sim... human :)

PHILOSOPHY

wow, we're getting to the complicated stuff here : ok philosophically speaking I would stand for the Utilitarian view (or at least consequentialism), politically speaking I'm in favor of the de-growth movement, and as for religion I don't have any. I'm a feminist and as a gay woman, standing in favor of LGTB's rights.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted quite a lot of people when I was living in Norway (2010-2013) and it has been a wonderful experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed once until now, in Stavanger (Norway), and it was really great! But mostly I've had a lot of wonderful experiences hosting people from all over the world!

Interessi

Well I have a weird interest for garbage since my research area is focused on recycling, and I teach grad students on waste... so I'm always happy to visit incinerators or landfills - you may not know it yet, but there is probably a remarkable site near where you live.
And in much less weird, I love board games, beers, and playing the piano in trainstations (makes th waiting more bearable).

well, of course, I'm French, so... French classical authors (Proust, Camus, Gide...) and movie-makers (Truffaut, Godard, Lelouch, Demy...)
International directors : Almodovar, Fatih Akin...
Got a passion for "Tales of the City" by Armistead Maupin
I do enjoy stupid romantic comedies,
and I love American TV shows (The Big Bang Theory, How I met your mother, Six feet under, The L word, Friends, Mad Men, ...)
Music: mostly stuff from the 70's and 80's (french pop music, Leonard Cohen, Simon and Garfunkel...I am sooo very conservative in this area, it's tragic...)

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I went paragliding in the french Alps for my 25th birthday, it was quite amazing but one piece of advice: do not do it if you have motion sickness!
Ok now I just did another quite amazing thing and it's impossible to choose: I went waterskiing in the fjords near Bergen, I didn't manage to stand, but still, loved it!

I'm always glad to talk about my country/language/culture, be it French or Norwegian!
I also play the piano, and love jamming, so if you have an old trumpet or cello somewhere in your basement, just get it out and let's play together!

Food, Music, Experiences, weird thoughts... you should be warned though: my unusually high level of energy can be exhausting!
