ABOUT ME

Random, silly, blahblah, third culture kid/global nomad (grew up in canada, hongkong, netherlands), loves music, concerts, travelling, movies, food, people... sharing, caring, swearing, daring.

I was born in HongKong, raised in the Netherlands, and am now in Canada for university... I travelled a fair bit prior to moving to Toronto, but now I'm a poor student. Ha.. ha.

I study Political Science and Diaspora/Transnational Studies at the University of Toronto. I love academia and reading and theories but I've realised that books can sometimes act as a barrier to real life and so I've recently decided that I'm growing up too quickly and that responsbility is taking over my spontaneity and wanderlust. I'm slowly fixing this... I think...

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Swerving through New Delhi traffic - torso half hanging out of tiny tuctuc, haggling for goodies in Marrakech, galloping through salty Essaouira waves on an arabian stallion, white-knuckled moped-ing up mountains and giving impromptu english lessons to monks in Chiang Mai, singing and dancing at charging riot cops at illegal detention centers, watching deer feed at daybreak from canoes in canadian wilderness, falling asleep next to campfires in rolling Saxon hills, creekside crickets and cuddles in the Ardennes, warming numb fingers on frothy Alpine hot chocolate, Art-squats and coldwar nerdism in Berlin, new years and new friends in Wicklow, Ireland... and hopefully many more things to come :)
