One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The village that I visited in Yunnan, China was a Muslim village. Who knew there were Chinese Muslims living up in the mountains? Spent 10 days there and they spoke a dialect and my mandarin was just passable (Singaporean standard lah) so I thought communication was going to be quite bad. But they were such wonderful hosts and we communicated with just gestures. I was so moved :'( At the end of the trip, we parted with hugs and tears. Oh the humanity!
