One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting by the Givenchy Road Canadian Cemetery (World War One) in Vimy, France overlooking the Vimy Forest, trenches, and the No. 2 Canadian Cemetery with no people or cars in sight. Just me, my thoughts, nature, World War One battlegrounds, remarkable cemeteries, and symbols of crucial moments of Canada's history as an autonomous entity

Watching the amazing sunset atop the Sugar Loaf in Rio de Janeiro as the lights of the apartments along Ipanema Beach (I think it was Ipanema) and the rest of Rio come on

Standing on one of the terraces of the Palais de Papes in Avignon, France with the sun shining & wind blowing with no one else around me, overlooking the Avignon rooftops, mountains, forests, and a river -- while listening to some awesome music on my iPod
