I love science—especially PHYSICS! There’s something deeply satisfying about chasing curiosity just to understand the universe a little better than we did yesterday. I’m in the final year of my PhD in quantum physics in Canada, which means I spend a lot of time thinking about really tiny things in really cold places.

Outside the lab, I’m into the arts. I mostly listen to Iranian traditional music, and I play the Tonbak—an Iranian percussion instrument—though definitely at an amateur level. Lately, I’ve been getting my hands dirty with clay and started hand-building pottery. It’s calming.

Oh, and I love board games. If you’ve got one, I’m in—unless it’s Monopoly. Nobody deserves that kind of stress.

I am usually based in Calgary, Canada. Temporarily staying in Karlsruhe until October 2025.
