ABOUT ME

I'm a law graduate and I have a thirst for adventure! I have travelled some parts of Europe when I was living in Edinburgh some years ago namely, Switzerland, France, Italy and others; most parts of Asia, especially the Southeast part. I have only travelled alone once two years ago and I plan to continue on doing that through my participation in volunteer help or involvements in university activities/programmes.

PHILOSOPHY

I have only one life to live and I believe that in that short period of time, I should use it wisely to enrich and immerse myself with different cultures, thoughts and beliefs. I believe that a person should venture out from his/her comfort zone in order to experience what life really is and to learn the valuable lessons that no one else can give. I want to ensure that when I grow old one day (ha ha), I will have a story to tell to the people I care about the most. My dad always reminded me that travelling is an investment of a lifetime; it builds your character and opens up your horizon and I, unequivocally, agree with him.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's great to meet other travellers and exchange invaluable experience/s. Also, its the most cost-efficient way to travel since I usually travel on a budget.

Backpacked across India (Bangalore > Jaipur > Agra> Delhi) and India-controlled-Kashmir as a post-graduation trip with 2 other females in 14 days.

Skied on top of Gulmarg in -12-degree weather.

Hiked several mountains in Johor (a state in Malaysia) during my secondary years.
