Hello! I'm Farinaz from Toronto, Canada. I’ll be finishing my bachelor’s degree in biology this April and will start my solo backpacking trip in May. I love taking on new challenges, adventure, and having a chance to meet new people from around the world to learn about different cultures. I’m a positive person; I always keep on a smile and try to make the best of any situation. I enjoy variety of different activities; two of my favorites are swimming and biking. I also love being around animals, especially dogs! I have a super energetic mini dachshund!

I've always enjoyed meeting new people and being give the gift of learning about life through their eyes. I think this community is wonderful place for like minded people to enrich the lives of one another through their experiences and life stories.

Intereses

I love trying new things! the bad side to this, is that I tend to dab a little into different fields and hobbies and move on to the next thing I find interesting. So I could go on for paragraphs about my interest but some of the things I'm most enthusiastic about is reading scientific journals and find out about the new discoveries made in biology ( I hope to do my own research when I continue with my education). I'm also really passionate about food. I love cooking and specially the eating part of it! I will try almost any type of food as experience.
Also, i love animals! specially dogs! I have a super hyper mini dachshund.

Música, películas y libros

I'm a bookwarm at heart and have read a ton of books (less in the years I've been busy with university). My all time favorite book is Jane Eyre by Charlotte bronte. I have read it multiple times and keep rereading my favorite passages!

I also love all kinds of music. I will gladly attended any concert as I love the atmosphere of music lovers gathering in one place! The genre I listen to the most is rock. one of my favorite bands is Rise Against (have seen them live twice so far)

I don't watch a lot of movies; I prefer TV shows. but one of my favorite movies is fight club. Experiencing that movies for the first time was amazing!

I don't think anything I've done so far in my life could be said as "An amazing thing", I hope to accomplish great things and help others (maybe through research). So amazing things is hopefully yet to be achieved.

I would love to teach anyone English or Farsi, as I'm fluent in both. I have experience with tutoring so this would be a fun experience for both parties! I would be grateful to listen to anyones experience in life, I'm a really good listener. I would also like to share my experience travelling and just life in general!

what I can hopefully bring to the table is my cooking skills; I always bake and cook at home and love to try new recipes. my language knowledge may hopefully be useful to host and we could have a great time learning together!
I would also be happy to do any organizing or cleaning!
