Hi! I’m Faris Qaryouti, a 20-year-old architecture student from Jordan, currently living in Hungary on a scholarship.

It might sound cliché to say that traveling is my passion (I know, we all say that here), but moving to Europe truly showed me how exploring new places helps you discover yourself.

Even more than that, I love how travel connects people. I genuinely enjoy sitting down with a cup of coffee, listening to stories, and learning about different cultures. I’m endlessly curious about others — every conversation teaches me something new.

I worked as a volunteer for 3 weeks in Greece this summer, it was unforgetable.

I can teach you something fun about the Arabic language — like how “habibi” (حبيبي) means “my dear” and can be used for friends, family, or anyone you love. Or how “yalla” (يلا) is the most common word in daily Arabic and means “let’s go!”
