ABOUT ME

I'm really outgoing and love meeting new people, I'm very passionate about food rights and justice, I plan to start a farm outside of Berea with my cousin next year so I obviously love gardening. I've devoted the last several years to intensively studying Chinese Martial Arts, but I'm am a devoted pacifist and abhor violence. I love cooking and making bread and deserts. I have been told I'm really relaxed and easygoing, hopefully whoever I stay with or host agrees.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe it is important to love indescriminately, and to look to everyone and everything as a teacher.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now just by using its service to network and find shelter. In the future once I'm settled I plan on hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch serfed for long stretches of my life but never through a website. I also have hosted many a serfer when I lived in Olympia Wa.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all Old Blues and Jazz, Old country, Hip-Hop, Some Classical music really grabes me too. I don't watch a lot of movies but my favorite one is the Big Lebowski. I love many of the Taoist texts especially the Inner Chapters by Chuan Tzu, Micheal Pollens books are all wonderfull too, and I really love Alan Watts' writtings. As far as fiction goes I like Catch 22, The Brothers Karamotsov, Jitterbug Perfum, Another Roadside Attracktion, Sidhartha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just tested for my second Degree Black Belt and passed with really high marks, I've seen so much that I can call amazeing... but the loving community created at this years Clear Creek Festival was the most recent.

Teach, Learn, Share

My gardening methods, Tai Chi, Pa Kua Chuang, Hsing I, Spanish I can all teach.
I like learning anything I can.
I will share what I have, though right now that is very little.
