About Me

Hey, I’m Farshad from Iran 🇮🇷 – an easygoing guy who’s been working as a tour guide for the past few years. I love nature, road trips, new cultures, and real conversations. I recently left Iran to explore more of the world, starting from Turkey 🇹🇷 and (hopefully) moving into Europe soon.

I’m not a tourist with a big budget – I travel slow, on a low budget, and always try to meet locals, learn something new, and help where I can. I’ve hosted travelers back in Iran (even unofficially), and now it’s my turn to be a guest 😊

I respect people’s homes, time, and energy – and I’m always up for sharing stories, food, or a simple walk in the city.

Let’s connect 🌍

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m traveling on a low budget, but I believe real travel is about meeting people, not just seeing places. Couchsurfing helps me connect with locals, share cultures, and feel more human in the journey.
I’m always happy to help, listen, and respect the home and the host.

🎬 Romantic and travel-themed movies

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guided hundreds of people to experience Iran’s hidden nature and ancient cities. Seeing travelers connect with local people and culture was always the best part of my job.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some basic photography tricks, simple Persian dishes, and share stories from guiding tours in Iran.
I love to learn about different cultures, cooking styles, and people’s life experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share good company, travel stories, and a positive vibe. I’m respectful, quiet, and clean. If you’re interested, I can cook something simple or share tips from my years as a tour guide.
