Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I'm here for the thrill of travel, exploring new cities, and embarking on unforgettable adventures. I believe Couchsurfing offers a unique opportunity to not only simplify my travels but also to make them infinitely more enriching. I'm eager to see cities through the eyes of locals, to delve deep into urban landscapes, and to immerse myself in the culture by listening to folklore, learning about historical narratives, and living the local lifestyle.

Interests

I love new adventures, from meeting people with different cultures to trying local foods, traveling to places I've never seen, and participating in activities I've never experienced before. I believe life is too short for monotony, so we should seek out new and exciting experiences. I'm convinced that all people around the world share deep connections, each with their own unique stories and secrets. I believe we can live together without borders, share the world, and live in peace and harmony.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One Amazing Thing I've Seen or Done

One of the most incredible experiences I've had was diving and living on oil rigs and ships. I've worked as a diver in the offshore oil and gas industry, where I've had the privilege to see the underwater world in a way few people do. Descending into the deep, I've witnessed the mesmerizing ballet of fish, the silent, majestic structures of the ocean floor, and the unique ecosystem that thrives around oil platforms.

Living on these rigs or ships for weeks at a time has its own set of challenges and rewards. The sense of isolation and the close-knit community formed among the crew create a unique lifestyle. The daily routine involves long hours of work, often in harsh conditions, but also moments of camaraderie, watching sunsets from the deck, and experiencing the raw power of the sea.

The most amazing part? It's not just one moment but the accumulation of experiences - from performing underwater welding in near-zero visibility to the thrill of navigating through strong currents, or the peace of floating in the vast, silent underwater world. These experiences have taught me resilience, teamwork, and an appreciation for the complexities of our planet's aquatic environments. It's a blend of adventure, hard work, and a connection with nature that's truly unparalleled.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach, Learn, Share
I can share what matters most: Good, easy vibes. I'm always ready to tell stories about my country, my friends, my job, and our shared adventures. "Happiness is only real when shared, and this principle is at the heart of my friendships. The strength of friendship and the memories we create together on this journey surpass all the joy in the world for me."

I love sharing my knowledge and experiences, whether it's about traditional foods from my country or the unique cultural ceremonies I've experienced. I'm always eager to talk about the music, art, and local beauties I've discovered. I believe that by sharing, we not only enrich ourselves but also contribute to building a global community with deep, meaningful connections.

What I Can Share with Hosts
