Hi, i'm Rara (some of my friends call me Rani) from Indonesia and currently i work and study as a nurse in Germany. My biggest motivation is to traveling around the world for the rest of my life, that's why i work here in Germany, so that i could easily go to another country in Europe. Most of the time i do solo traveling, but it would be a great experience to travel with the strangers who also a local, so I get to know more perspective about the city through locals. That is also my goal of travel: to get to know the culture through the local's POV, that's why I do couchsurfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because i want to immerse with the culture from the country that I'm going to. Besides, I also want to make a new friends all around the world. P.S. I would love to try the local foods, in return i'll also cook the traditional food from my country😉😊

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Studied in my dream country, South Korea, at 18 as an exchange student.
2. Moved to Germany alone at 20, starting from zero—no family, no friends.
3. Travel abroad using money I earned myself, not a single cent from my parents
4. A solo female traveler for over a year now
5. Visited 12 countries in 12 months while working full-time and doing uni.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll probably cook the traditional food from my home country (if i could find the ingredients, it's a little bit tricky to find it in Europe). I'll also do simple house chores such as washing dish, vacuum cleaning, etc.
