I'm a Turkish-American history student at Bogazici University in Istanbul. I grew up in the United States and have been living in Turkey for the past four years. I love meeting new people and seeing new places! I've traveled a bit in Europe and Africa but I feel like I still have many more places to see. Personality wise, I see myself as a friendly, easy going guy. Most people I meet end up becoming my friends and I haven't made any enemies since middle school :)

I like traveling because I get to meet new people and experience new cultures. I feel that this is limited when you stay at a hotel and do the general touristy things. Sociology interests me and so I'd rather get to know how locals live rather than see a bunch of landmarks.
