Overview
About Me
I'm Fatih a good conversationalist, restless, tolerant... I like to laugh and make people laugh. animal and nature lover.
i believe that collecting memories and learning new stuff are the best ways to live a fullfilling life, we are not getting any younger, we have limited time in this planet so i would like to meet people who make my life more colorful and fun.
learned Arabic and French on the windswept dunes of North Africa, redefining “home” with every step from desert shores to Mediterranean coasts. Now in Istanbul, I breathe in this city’s tapestry of history and modernity, opening new windows on my inner journey.
To me, travel isn’t merely moving from point A to B; each encounter, every shared cup of coffee, every meaningful glance is like a poem written in a universal language. On Couchsurfing, I seek not just a roof, but a sanctuary woven with reciprocity, empathy, and genuine friendship.
When I lose myself in nature, the birdsong, the silent roar of the Bosphorus, and my footprints in the snow teach me how to reimagine the world. As an architect, every façade, every cobblestone, every layer of history whispers the limitless bounds of human imagination.
The door I open for my guests is more than a space it’s the first line of a story we’ll write together. Warm conversations, spontaneous street food discoveries, or an impromptu art debate these are the vibrant beams that raise the ceiling of this “third home.”
If you’re ready to step beyond the ordinary into a journey without judgment, rich in depth, and alive in the present come, and let’s create moments that make you say “wow.”
“Every new face is an undiscovered land on the world map; every shared story, the key to its gate.”
My door is always open to you and your story.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe the heart of travel lies in human connections rather than landmarks. Couchsurfing lets me turn a simple visit into a shared story—swapping perspectives over coffee, discovering neighborhood secrets with a local guide, and learning what “home” truly means in someone else’s eyes.
As an architect and lifelong learner, I’m fascinated by how culture shapes both spaces and people. Hosting and staying with fellow travelers gives me the chance to witness new traditions, practice languages, and test my own storytelling skills—whether it’s explaining Istanbul’s hidden architectural gems or picking up fresh idioms from my guests.
Above all, I value genuine friendship built on curiosity and respect. Couchsurfing is where chance encounters become lasting memories. If you’re up for honest conversations, spontaneous adventures, and mutual hospitality, let’s meet and make our paths cross in the most meaningful way.
